he, i'm upgrading the palace atm, so will make a 4th town tomorrow.

The problem now is that I dont know what I should do. I got a crystal, marble and wine town atm.
So for the 4th town; should I go for the remaining resource sulfur, or should i make another marble/crystal town.
(everyone seems to need marble and crystal and I dont really need much sulfer anyway)

What did you ppl do?

Hi Gamma - I just made my 4th town and decided to go for another marble (already had marble, sulphur & crystal). I figured wine was easiest to get hold of and like you say marble and crystal are the harder resources to get. You need marble for almost every building, crystal is good if you want to accelerate your research. Sulphur is only really necessary if you want to build up your armies. I am happy to trade some sulphar as and when you need it. So either crystal or marble would be my advice. What do others think?
Edit: Just an afterthought - if you decide to go for another marble island you could join me at Ticklehampton [69.57] as they have lvl 9 marble quarry and lvl 13 wood - so you can put more workers there and get more without having to make so much in donations! Just a thought lol x

I started with wine. Having my second as marble, then moving with crystal. I figured that I would require a large force to protect and possibly having to assault if necessary. I would be having excess amounts of sulfur so if you require any, you can use my ones. Marble would possibly be your best bet.

Also, if any of you do get attacked, you can feel free to ask for assistance and I'll do what I can.

I went marble for 2nd then wine. Now trying to get a glass one, But need 4k plus to get it! I will get there eventually.

Just researched Helping Hands, and with this I can get a good amount of marble and crystal. It should be enough for the upkeep of 4 colony's I guess. ( with the long building upgrade times at high lvl, and the fact that you can only upgrade 1 building at a time)

So I made a sulfur colony :p.
Now I can start making my navy a bit bigger ( dont have many boats :/)

Congrats on your 4th Colony - I know how hard you have to save for it! I was gonna go for a 5th but it costso much in resources I think I may now concentrate on the 4 I already have and build them up and level up the resource and wood mills on all my islands. You may have noticed that I have made large donations to them all - I have done this by pillaging all the inactive players 6 times a day and the ones that don't donate. Any wood I have got went straight to the resources on their behalf!!

lucky me that I have donated... one day I could wake up tickled... ) btw, I have the helping hands research since last week and it ain't very useful... anyway, I won't go for sulphur on my 4th city... I'll stick to the marble... ;

Awww Boomer wouldn't you like to be tickled to death lol! I also have helping hands and I agree it's not that good! 4 extra workers only make the same as 1 normal worker. I have just researched Governor as well only to find out it's useless! You are supposed to be able to occupy someone else's town - but it hasnt been activated yet. Anyway,I'm slowing down on the research now as the rest seem pretty pointless.
